Goshen County School District #1 in Torrington, Wyoming, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented District Head Cook to join the Business Office team. Based at the Central Administration Building, this position oversees the daily operation of the district's food service program, providing leadership and support to school kitchens throughout the district. The District Head Cook plays a key role in ensuring students receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining safe, efficient, and sanitary food service operations.

 

This is a full-time, year-round position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, and paid leave in accordance with district policy. Employment is contingent upon the proof of a valid driver license and evidence of insurability, and the successful completion of all district pre-employment requirements.

Experience: Job related experience is desired but not required.

 

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

 

Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver license and evidence of insurability; CPR/First Aid Certificate and ServSafe (district training offered)

 

Clearances: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance

 

Testing: GCSD Pre-Employment Physical Assessment Testing
