Goshen County School District #1, located in Goshen County, Wyoming, is seeking qualified applicants for a Transportation Maintenance staff position. This individual will support the district’s transportation department by assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the district’s transportation fleet and related equipment. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor. Applications will be accepted through March 23, 2026, or until filled.
Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to qualify for a Wyoming CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

Ability to meet all Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) requirements

General automotive and mechanical maintenance skills preferred

Purpose Statement:
The job of Transportation Maintenance Worker was established for the purpose/s of providing mechanic services with specific responsibility for performing preventive maintenance and maintaining district vehicles in safe operating condition; and completing assignments in a safe, proper and timely manner.
Equivalency: Job related experience is required
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Certificates & Licenses: Class B CDL w/ passenger, school bus, and air brakes endorsements; CPR/First Aid Certificate; DOT physical with medical examiner's certificate
Clearances:
Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance must be received prio to starting work; DOT driving record clearance report.
