This is a special education teaching position at Lingle Ft. Laramie Elementary School in Lingle, Wyoming, for the 2024-2025 school year. Lingle Ft. Laramie Elementary School serves students in grades K-5. Immediate start date.

 

Purpose Statement

The job of Teacher - Special Education was established for the purpose/s of developing special education students' success in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living by implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

 

This job reports to the building principal.

  

 Experience  Job related experience is desired.

 

Education   Bachelor degree in Special Education

  

Continuing Educ./Training     Maintains PTSB certification by earning 5 credit hours per every 5 year renewal period

Certificates & Licenses    Professional Teaching Standards Board Certification with applicable Special Education endorsement(s)
