The position of Maintenance Supervisor is a year-round, 257 day position. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement benefits, and paid leve in accordance with district policy. Starting salary is $72,660 per year with consideration for related experience. The start date is contingent upon the successful completion of all district preemployment requirements.
Goshen County School District #1 is seeking a qualified and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead the district's maintenance and grounds operations. This position provides leadership and oversight for the maintenance department while serving as a working supervisor who assists with daily maintenance activities and supports the safe, efficient operation of district facilities.
This position reports to the Business Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the district's maintenance and grounds staff.
- Coordinate maintenance, repair, construction, and preventive maintenance projects.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
- Manage department operations, purchasing, and inventory.
- Collaborate with district staff, contractors, and outside agencies.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
Qualifications
- HVAC and/or electrical certification desired
- Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Job-related education or specialized training.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
