Platte River High School in Torrington, Wyoming, is accepting applications for a 16-hour-per-week Paraprofessional position for the 2026–27 school year. Platte River High School serves students in grades 9–12.
The scheduled work hours for this position are typically Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Candidates must meet the highly qualified requirements for paraprofessional positions.
This position is a school-year assignment with employment dates of August 17, 2026, through May 20, 2027, contingent upon the successful completion of all district pre-employment requirements.
The job of Paraprofessional - Regular Education was established for the purpose/s of assisting the classroom teacher with maintaining classroom order; providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for working with individual and/or small groups of students; monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time and providing clerical support to teacher/s and staff.
This position reports to the building principal.
