This position is split between Torrington High School and Torrington Middle School in Torrington, WY, teaching Band in grades 6-12 for the 2025-2026 academic year.  Start date is August 2025.

The job of Teacher - Band was established for the purpose/s of developing students' academic skills through academic and/or career vocational courses of study and implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

This job reports to the building principals.

Position open until filled.

Experience  Job related experience desired.

Education   Bachelors degree in Secondary Education - Music 6-12 or Music Instrumental 6-12

Continuing Educ. / Training    Maintains PTSB certification by earning 5 credit hours per every 5 year renewal period

Certificates & Licenses   Professional Teaching Standards Board Certification with Music / Music Instrumental 6-12 endorsement

Clearances    Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
